The Car
The thrill of performing in front of an appreciative audience can be fairly addictive and after consequent years of launching concept watches, Tagheuer decided to go on step further by partnering with Ken Okuyama, a Japanese car designer who has worked with such companies as GM, Porsche and Pininfarina, to create a futuristic high performance eco-responsible GT concept car that is said to be inspired by a TAG Heuer concept chronograph which is a reverse on an old trend of creating motor sport inspired wristwatches. The watch is also featured on the dashboard of the car.
The car was first featured at the 2008 Geneva Motor Show a month earlier and will be made available in an exclusive limited edition of 99 vehicles.
Ps. I also got a chance to catch Jean-Christophe Babin, the CEO of Tag Heuer, posing happily in his concept car.
